Increase your opportunities by becoming a Certified Survey Technician.
Designed to meet the needs of both employers and technicians, NSPS-ACSM continues to offer this multi-level program which will help you increase skills and enhance career opportunities.

Program materials are available which define the work elements on which you will be tested, sample problems, and a bibliography of references for self study. Earn certification through examinations offered nationwide throughout the year. Your certification will provide you with nationally acceptable skill levels and enable you to get ahead in the workplace.

Survey Technician Level I, Level II, Level III, and Level IV are available. The upper three levels are geared to the technician with a minimum of one-and-a-half, three-and-a-half, and five-and-a-half years' total experience, respectively. At Levels II, III, and IV, one can test in a field track and/or an office track. The Survey Technician Level III field track consists of a Boundary Party Chief and/or a Construction Party Chief examination, while the office track consists of a Chief Computer Operator and/or a Chief Drafter examination.
